Te Tuhi Art Gallery Trip

AOTEAROA NZ 100% COOL!

We had an awesome outing to Te Tuhi. The art educator showed us art inspired by native birds and things unique to Aotearoa New Zealand. We learned a print making technique of etching into black paint on transparent film. We each made a letter to turn into our phrase "Aotearoa New Zealand 100% Cool". A special thanks to parent helpers and Te Tuhi for this great experience.

ANZAC Inquiry

We learned that ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps.
Miss Cockeram brought in some WW1 medals belonging to her great grandfather.
The medals and the pocket watch were 100 years old.
