Nature Club - Vegetable Stir-Fry
Nature Club harvested our stir-fry veggies from the garden. We picked: broccoli, brussel sprouts, silver beet, and bok choy. We chopped-up the veggies to go into a vegetable stir-fry.
So, what did you think of the stir-fried noodles with fresh veggies kids?

Nature Club - Mahi Mara
Nature Club had a great day in the garden. We harvested lettuces and broccoli and saw what other plants are growing in the garden. The students learned to shake off the dirt from the roots of the lettuce and remove old leaves not good for eating. Then we took our harvest inside and made yummy, healthy pita pockets filled with grated carrots and cheese, and our fresh crunchy lettuce leaves!

The Fun Bus
Our Big Book this week was called The Fun Bus. We imagined what it would be like to be a character from the story. Here are some of our pictures riding on the bus. Would you like to go for a ride on the Fun Bus or the Serious Bus?

Writing By Roger
Yesterday we wrote a story about a Nogard. My nogard has little legs and feet. He also has little wings. Miss cockeram said I did a great job with using describing words.

This week for writing I wrote a story about a nogard. I described my nogard by using the words long, big, and tiny. I really enjoyed this writing. I have also drawn a nogard and coloured it purple.
