Today I wrote a poem about the Matariki stars. For this task we were to describe the appearance of a star. For this activity I got help from Jack and Sanujan. They helped me spell my words.

Eben's Matariki Poem
Eben wrote a poem about Matariki. Matariki is a festival to enjoy the Maori New Year. Eben's poem describes the stars. It also has a colourful border filled with multicoloured stars.
Daniel & Semi Pou Whenua Painting
Semi and Daniel have started painting the Room 2 pou whenua. We used red, white, and black. We painted the Union Jack and diamond patterns. We showed a lot of teamwork.

Writing By Roger
Yesterday we wrote a story about a Nogard. My nogard has little legs and feet. He also has little wings. Miss cockeram said I did a great job with using describing words.
Alexxa Writing
This week for writing I wrote a story about a nogard. I described my nogard by using the words long, big, and tiny. I really enjoyed this writing. I have also drawn a nogard and coloured it purple.
